''You!''

Associate with a special
person, with whom you
spend most of your time,
and has a huge influence
over you. Study his
weaknesses and change him
with discipline, and even by
threat..! Guide and
encourage him to make him
the best. Do you know who
the person is? Its ‘You’…!
Whom do you love the
most? Is it not the ‘you’? No
other person can be your
best friend. Consider the
following illustration:
“I love you more than
anybody” the boy says in a
soft voice holding her hand.
“I am lucky” the girl says
with half closed eyes. As
the dark shades thicken in
the park, she wants to
return home.
“Stay back please..! Abhi dil
bhara nahi…” pleads the
boy. And the sweet talk
goes on… about her
pimples, gaining weight etc.
The girl says ruefully “I am
not getting good marks
these days…”
He advises “Reduce
watching TV; don’t chat in
cell phone except with me.”
She acknowledges his
suggestion and sneezes.
“Oh. I have never seen such
a nice sneeze till now..!” he
admires.
What do we get from this?
When you are in love 1) you
always want to be with your
beloved 2) Assess your
companion continuously 3)
Give advises and 4)
Appreciate even the sneeze.
Assume Lord Yama appears
at this point to pronounce
that he has to take ‘one’
between you two, and the
choice is yours. You know
the answer. Both
unanimously say, ‘Take the
other’.
No doubt, nobody would
not be willing to sacrifice
life unless you extremely
sentimental or in mad love.
You love yourself more than
anybody else. Then consider
these questions:
How much time are you
spending in solitude ‘with
you’ without TV or a book,
as you stay with your
beloved in a park? 2. Do you
constantly assess yourself,
as you observe your beloved
gaining weight? 3. Do you
give suggestions to you (and
follow them…!), as you
recommend betterments to
your lover? 4. As you
appreciate even the sneeze
of your beloved, do you pat
your good qualities? If so,
what are they ?
